Scan

Read a barcode first. If Open Food Facts has no ingredient list, paste the panel from the package in your hand.

Match

Your avoid list is applied to the printed words, including nested sub-ingredients and the 2% tail. Missing text stays unknown.

Swap

Suggestions stay in the same grocery aisle and have to pass the same filters. A different aisle is not offered as a substitute.

Paste a label. Toggle the avoid list.

This demo runs the same preference engine as the app, in the browser, with no account. Sample products are original demo formulas, not live retailer listings.

Questions worth answering before you install

Does AisleSwap tell me a food is safe?

No. AisleSwap matches personal ingredient preferences against the printed label or an Open Food Facts ingredient list. It is not medical, allergy, or dietary safety advice, and it does not clear a product for a condition, a diet, or a pet.

What happens when a barcode has no ingredient list?

The result stays unknown. Photograph or paste the panel on the package. AisleSwap will not silently substitute a similarly named product, and an incomplete list is never ranked as a clean swap.

Where do product facts come from?

Live barcode lookups use Open Food Facts under the Open Database License. The browser demo and same-aisle examples use an original sample catalog written for AisleSwap, labeled as such, and are not a copy of the Open Food Facts database.

    What does the membership cost?

The iOS app offers a 3-day free trial, then $29.99/year, or $6.99/month with no trial. Cancel in App Store subscription settings. This website does not charge you.
